Astronomers all over the country can reserve Hubble time. It's really neat, actually, because even grad students can arrange for a time to point the Hubble at whatever it is they're studying.
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine did a PhD and is now working on a post-doc in astrophysics, and has gotten to point Hubble at various things.
I really like that it's not reserved for NASA big-wigs, and that even students have access
looking forward to it, weekly!
