Every Thursday, I post a very large photograph of some corner of space captured by the Hubble Space Telescope and available online from the picture album at HubbleSite.
Each that we lose takes part of us;
A crescent still abides,
Which like the moon, some turbid night,
Is summoned by the tides.
~~poem #97 by Emily Dickinson
Behold, the Giant Vulva of the Creator
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike.
ReplyDeleteWhat I've never been able to get past is just how amazingly gorgeous the Hubble images are....

(if not for the Challenger disaster, maybe I would have pursued astrophysics or something...)
