ELECTION DAY EDITION
Here's the weekly best of what I've gleaned from I Can Has Cheezburger efforts. There are some really creative folks out there. As usual, those from little gator lead the pack.

What I love about the last one is that it's not a blanket, it's a jacket. Because I can't decide how the cheetah got the jacket in the first place.....it's perplexing, intriguing, and yes, I suspect foul play!
Wow, Kat, I hadn't noticed, but you're right. I too now suspect foul play. One thing I know about leopards and cheetahs both is that in order to keep other predators away from their kills, they drag them up into trees. (Lions don't need to do that and can cache on the ground, because they're big and numerous enough to deal with hyenas, etc.) So the "behavior" behind the "jacket in tree" reads now to me less as beloved object and more as symbolic kill.
What did we do before LOLCats? I can't watch a nature show on TV now involving big cats without writing captions in my head and, usually, out loud in LOLspeak. Which always brings Dinah running, because LOLspeak is also the tone of voice I use with her.
yeah, I anthropomorphize animals like no one's business, and the addition of lolspeak doesn't help.
And yes, what did the universe do before the all-encompassing time suck-ing wonder?
Oh no! There was a someone in that jacket, I bet!! It would be a memorable way to go, though...
"Here lies Joe. Met his end at the end of sharp teeth and spotted skin."
